Question

Answer

Can I do the race by myself?

Yes. Basically, we want to get as many people participating as possible and if you can't find a team or just want the solo experience be our guest. We usually just give a verbal recognition of the solo racers but do not have a specific category and prizes to go with it. If you are interested in finding a team however, just pass along an email and we can play match-maker. Let us know if you are a seasoned veteran and looking for a competitive team or are looking for a "fun only" group.

What is the entry fee?

It pays to register early! The early bird fee is $20 / person or if you are entering a family team it works out to just $18 / person.

The fee on the day of the event is $22 / person or $20 / person as a family team.

The price does include a t-shirt so make sure you register early so we can get your size.

Can I use a mountain bike on the trail and then a road bike on the road?

No. We feel that part of the fun/challenge is to decide on what ride to take. The trail isn't that long (2km) but there are a couple of sections that will be very slow on a road bike. Also, if it has been rainy the dirt track will be muddy. Check out the gallery for 2004!
